Can I transfer my domain if it is expired?

You are welcome to try, but chances are it will not work. Most registrars require you to renew before you can transfer a domain away.

If your domain has expired, it is possible to transfer it if the following conditions are met:
  • The domain has to be unlocked for transfer;
  • You have Auth/EPP code for the domain;
  • The domain should be within the reactivation grace period from old registrar.
